Brazil, the largest country in Latin America, is home, within a radius of 140 km, in Rio Grande do Sul State, to the world’s biggest leather-footwear complex. There are hundreds of tanning, component, footwear, and part companies, in addition to technological centers for the qualification of workers and development of technology and a competent distribution network located in the city of Novo Hamburgo.
About 70% of the volume of exported Brazilian footwear is manufactured in this region and sold worldwide.
Fenac S/A takes place in this region in a 37,000 square meter complex composed of eleven display pavilions and an event center.
This complex will be home to the COUROVISÃO 2008 (Leather View 2008 Trade Fair) event, which in its ninth edition will boost the leather industry even further.
